iPhone 4 hits the shops!

Well, the day is finally here! After the launch of the iOS 4 on Monday, Apple’s new version of their phone, the iPhone 4 launches in five countries – the US, UK, France, Germany and Japan. No doubt there are queues of people waiting to get hold on what is set to be Apple’s best iPhone release so far…and probably one of the best selling based on the pre orders of about 600,000.

Sure, there will be many who get hold of the iPhone 4, but there are very limited at the moment and I have no doubt that it will probably sell out very quickly. Anyone who really wants one for the sake of it can do so today.

Those wanting the white model of the iPhone 4 though will have to wait as they are currently unavailable to purchase at the present time. The Apple Online Store has now a waiting time of 3 weeks which means you may have to wait until late July to get your hands on one if you go via this route.

Some mobile operators, in particular, O2 have such limited supplies that they can only offer it to existing O2 customers…new customers will have to wait!

Ah, well all the excitement that surrounds the iPhone 4! We’ll see in the next few days what the reaction will be like!
