More history at Baker Street

Hi all

We looked at the war memorial on yesterday’s blog at Baker Street. But here’s some more hidden history. Near platform 1 of the terminating Metropolitan line platform are some interesting posters that used to advertise Chiltern Court, a restaurant, which is part of the main building that is over the tracks of Baker Street station. The one below is not the original poster but a mock of the original…

On the other side however appears to be part of an original poster for Chiltern Court. It is quite obvious that posters had covered this advert. It appears to be in poor condition.

It is amazing it survives!
